Extension Service Centre

VISION STATEMENT
“ The E.S.C. will require a deeply committed partnership among teachers, students, administrations which will perform, in effect a continuous teacher empowerment organization.”
Extension Service Center is unique activity of our institute. The centre was established in 1971 in this college, for the Dhule District (Dhule & Nandurbar) to give In-service training to secondary teachers in the region. The center works under the guidelines of S.C.E.R.T, Pune. At present Prin. Dr. A. P. Joshi is working as honorary director.
Objectives of Extension Service Center
1) To provide adequate professional training so as to make teaching & learning effective 2) To keep teacher abreast of new developments in curriculum subjects & pedagogy
3) To upgrade the academic qualification of teachers
4) To develop skills & attitudes responsive to emerging National development goals & programs
5) To make teachers aware of problems of community & to develop necessary skills & attitudes enabling them to be effective Change Agents in the community
Extension service Centre Works
1) To increase activities that intend to develop personal education of working teachers & general understanding of role which they & schools are expected to play in the changing society.
2) To increase activities that stimulate to contribute in curriculum development & innovative approaches to teaching
3) To include programs based on Individually Focused Inset School Based Inset System-Focused Inset.
