About College

MISSION STATEMENT
Let a man lift himself by himself, Let him not degrade himself.

Objectives of Institution
1) To develop the ability to subordinate impulses to carefully think about, selected internalized values.
2) To develop the ability to make right decisions & choice & to act in accordance with them.
3) To develop win-win attitude i.e. a belief that everyone can win.
4) To inculcate the habit of celebrating differences, team work, open mindedness & finding new & better ways.
5) To inculcate the habit of renewing & strengthening the physical, mental, emotional & spiritual dimensions of life.
After Independence, the spread of education made it necessary to establish teacher training institutes in Maharashtra. Considering the need of such institutes in North Maharashtra, the society established college of Education in June 1961. The college has celebrated Golden Jubilee year in 2011.
The college has a very high reputation in the society; it is because of the Academic leaders, who with their immense efforts & vision developed the college. Among them, the society is very much indebted to Late Prin. G. B. Joshi, whose name is still associated with the college.
At present the Institute is progressing fast with qualitative & quantitative development under the able and efficient leadership of Principal Dr. A.P. Joshi
